Also, by enrichment analysis of 167 common hub genes related to PAN-gastrointestinal cancers, and by identifying important molecular pathways involved in the occurrence of these cancers, a molecular panel consisting of the AURKA, CEP55, DTL, and TTK genes was constructed by using ROC curve analysis and the Youden index as biomarkers for PAN-gastrointestinal cancers, validated using real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) in patient tissue samples.
