The residual disease signature, derived from the MCP, includes six genes associated with thyroid function and autoimmune syndromes not previously identified, including PTH2R, PTHLH, and genes related to calcium regulation in the body, and while not directly linked to CTCL, they have relatively high expression in the malignant cells and very-low-to-undetectable levels of expression in the normal control PBMCs. Here, PTHLH is linked to primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
