Comprehensive genomic profiling assays using cfDNA can identify a wide range of genetic alterations [76], while TP53 is a frequently mutated gene in HNSCC, including OSCC, and its mutations can be detected in ctDNA, in which panels for HNSCC also include other frequently altered genes [44,69,77]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
