In the bivariate analysis, hemoglobin < 10 g (HR = 2.89, 95% CI 1.46–5.70, p = 0.002), lymphopenia (HR = 2.87, 95% CI 1.41–3.31, p < 0.001), neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio ≥ 6 (HR = 2.15, 95% CI 1.41–3.31, p = 0.001), albumin ≤ 3 g/dL (HR = 2.30, 95% CI 1.56–3.37, p < 0.001), and stage IV (HR = 2.0, 95% CI 1.39–2.92, p = 0.000) were positively associated with mortality. Here, ALB is linked to lymphopenia.
