In a DSS-induced mouse model of colitis, SOD3 or SOD3-transduced mesenchymal stem cells (SOD3-MSCs) attenuated symptoms (body weight regain, preserved colon length), repaired the intestinal epithelial barrier (upregulation of ZO-1, occludin, and E-cadherin), and reduced spleen and lymph node inflammation. Here, CDH1 is linked to colitis.
