BRCA2 and peritoneum cancer: The SOLO1/GOG 3004 (NCT01844986) phase III randomized trial evaluated olaparib as a first-line maintenance therapy in patients with newly diagnosed, advanced (FIGO stage III–IV), high-grade serous or endometrioid ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, who had a BRCA1 and/or BRCA2 mutation and had achieved a complete or partial response to platinum-based chemotherapy [37].
