The analysis of the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the cohort of patients with NB, compared to the control group of healthy children, showed that the average concentration between both groups was as follows: IL-1β (11.438 pg/mL vs. 2.25 pg/mL), IL-6 (102.28 pg/mL vs. 2.32 pg/mL), IL-12p40 (63.48 pg/mL vs. 2.34 pg/mL), IL-12p70 (30.226 pg/mL vs. 2.196 pg/mL), TNF-α (11.851 pg/mL vs. 2.474 pg/mL) and IFN-γ (59.874 pg/mL vs. 2.185 pg/mL). This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and neuroblastoma.
