INS and Hyperglycemia: A landmark 12-week multicentre trial by Tauschmann et al. (2018) in patients with poorly controlled diabetes reported a significant reduction in both hypoglycaemia (from 3.9% to 2.6%) and hyperglycaemia (from 42% to 32%) and increased time-in-range (from 54% to 65%) with the hybrid system compared with standard insulin therapy.
