Loss of MAP4 results in the loss of PI3Kα targeting and loss of PI3K-Akt signaling downstream of multiple agonists (Thapa et al., 2020), which was consistent with the result of this article that the EML4 was downregulated and PI3K/Akt/eNOS pathway was inhibited in the preeclampsia model group.
