The tissue samples of eight HCC patients were collected, and automated protein quantitative analysis (Wes) was used to detect that the expression of the Warburg effect key enzymes HK2, PKM2 and LDHA, as well as cancer cell stemness reprogramming factors OCT4, KLF4 and c‐MYC proteins in cancerous tissues, were significantly higher than those in corresponding paracancerous tissues, with the difference statistically significant (p < 0.05) (Figure 1G). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
