ALB and cancer: Notably, the lactate dehydrogenase‐to‐albumin ratio (LAR) has emerged as a reliable independent prognostic factor in several cancers, including colorectal cancer [14], bladder cancer [15], nasopharyngeal carcinoma [16], breast cancer [17] and esophageal cancer [18], with higher ratios correlating with worse prognosis and diminished survival outcomes.
