The frequency of the CYP2C19 *2/*2 genotype was higher (9.7% vs. 6.6%, p = 0.001), while the frequency of the CYP2C19 *1/*1 genotype was lower (42.3% vs. 48.8%, p < 0.001) in the CAD patients than those in controls. This evidence concerns the gene CYP2C19 and coronary artery disorder.
