Interestingly, the majority (26/31, 84%) of recurrent BRCA2 PVs were lineage-unique, with only two PVs (affecting five patients) recurrent in both lineages, i.e. ovarian and breast cancer (Supplementary Figure S3A and B, available at https://doi.org/10.1016/j.esmoop.2025.105510) (chi-Square goodness of fit, P = 0.00225). The gene discussed is BRCA2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
