Furthermore, we also explored the profiling of p-AKT and T-AKT in brains of R6/2 HD transgenic mice, which carry exon 1 of mHTT transgene with approximate 150 CAG repeats driven by a HTT promoter [4, 35], at one month of age in vivo using Western blotting (Fig. 2C), showing the p-AKT/T-AKT ratio is significantly decreased in R6/2 HD transgenic mice (Fig. 2D). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and Huntington disease.
