In a recent study by Singh et al. [114], primary human bronchial epithelial (HBE) cell lines from CF (BCF) and non‐CF (BD) donors, and immortalized HBE cell lines from CF (CuFi‐1) and non‐CF (NuLi‐1, BEAS‐2B) donors were studied to examine the role of TAS2R14 in CF respiratory infection [114]. This evidence concerns the gene TAS2R14 and Behcet disease.
