The final model incorporated nine key genes (Fig. 7A and B), specifically BACE2, EPX, FRY, IL18R1, IL5RA, PVALB, SCG2, TIMP3 and TPSAB1 (Fig. 7B), of which TIMP3 and PVSLB emerged as strong prognostic indicators of clinical outcome in patients with AML. This evidence concerns the gene PVALB and acute myeloid leukemia.
