Further analysis of single-cell expression patterns of GPX3 and MYC (Figures 8C, D) showed GPX3 had very low expression restricted mainly to monocytes, while MYC was widely expressed in CD4+ T cells, NK cells, and B cells, suggesting MYC plays a critical role in T cell-mediated immune dysregulation in RA. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and rheumatoid arthritis.
