Additionally, CSPG4‐specific chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) exerted potent cytotoxicity in response to various CSPG4‐expressing tumors, such as melanoma, breast cancer, mesothelioma, glioblastoma, and osteosarcoma [63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71], in animal models and in vitro.
