The number of ERBB2 amplification cases was 503 (Supplementary Table S3), and ERBB2 mutations were identified in 130 patients (4.1%; Table 3), with the R678Q mutation detected in 40 patients (1.3% of all gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma cases and 30.8% of ERBB2 mutation cases; Table 4). The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
