IL-6, IL-20, and IL-22 serum levels were significantly elevated in psoriasis patients compared to controls in the study conducted by Michalak-Stoma et al. Furthermore, a positive correlation between PASI score and IL-22 levels was identified, underlining a link between the inflammation orchestrated by IL-22 and clinical disease severity and, thus, proposing IL-22 as a suitable biomarker for monitoring disease activity in psoriasis. Here, IL6 is linked to psoriasis.
