ACSL4 and cancer: These findings align with those of previous studies that demonstrated the inhibitory effect of ACSL4 on arachidonic acid metabolism and tumor development.[34] A connection between shigellosis and cancer progression has been reported.[35] In addition, studies have revealed that thyroid hormone synthesis promotes breast cancer invasion.[36] Considering these factors, we can confidently assert that our model has great potential to enhance our understanding of breast cancer biology.
