It is difficult to identify why certain parameters and hazard ratios derived from the patient group of the Baumber paper [10] and from the spinal cohort, particularly seen for the parameters of Albumin (< 35), Creatinine (< 44), Sodium (< 133) and White Cell Count (> 11) are more influential in the spinal cohort when compared to that of metastatic disease in the appendicular skeleton.
