Furthermore, in the low-to-moderate risk group, the associations of higher blood levels of N3FA [0.14 (0.03, 0.62) vs. 0.82 (0.27, 2.47)] and DHA [0.11 (0.00, 0.11) vs. 1.70 (0.13, 22.73)] with dementia-related mortality were significantly stronger (P interaction < 0.05) compared to high-risk APOE genotypes (Table 4).
