Our analysis revealed that CCL18 was significantly upregulated in a broad range of tumor types, including breast invasive carcinoma (basal and HER2-enriched subtypes), cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), cholangiocarcinoma, esophageal carcinoma, glioblastoma multiforme, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, kidney chromophobe, kidney renal clear cell carcinoma, kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, stomach adenocarcinoma, thyroid carcinoma, and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (Figure 1a). This evidence concerns the gene CCL18 and gastric adenocarcinoma.
