In terms of cardiovascular death and non‐fatal myocardial infarction, patients with eGFR ≤ 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 and intermediate to high levels of ET‐1 have a significantly higher cumulative hazard of cardiovascular death and non‐fatal myocardial infarction compared with other groups, showing statistical significance (p < 0.05) (Figure S4). This evidence concerns the gene EDN1 and myocardial infarction.
