Our data showed that the cytoplasmic cGAMP levels in SFTSV-infected THP-1 cells were 1.7- to 5-fold higher than uninfected cells, and the production of cGAMP was partially inhibited with RU.521 existence (Fig. 4F and G), suggesting that the cGAS-STING signaling pathway can be activated after SFTSV infection. This evidence concerns the gene STING1 and infection.
