Currently, three FLT3 inhibitors are approved for the treatment of AML: midostaurin and quizartinib, each in combination with chemotherapy for newly diagnosed FLT3-mutated AML, and gilteritinib as a single agent for relapsed or refractory FLT3-mutated AML [18,19,22]. This evidence concerns the gene FLT3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
