Another meta-analysis conducted in Australia by Razavi et al., which included seven clinical trials, found that colchicine administration was associated with a significant reduction in serum CRP levels (OR: 0.67; 95% CI: 0.46-0.98; p=0.04; I2=46%) and a 70% reduction in stroke risk in the colchicine-treated group.
