Our results revealed that knockdown of SNRPB significantly reduced the levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, and free fatty acids in HCC cells, while also downregulating the expression of key lipid metabolism-related proteins, including ACLY, FASN, and ACSL3, in both HCCLM3 (Fig. 7A) and SK-HEP-1 (Fig. 7B) cells. Here, FASN is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
