CXCL9 and neoplasm: Their research demonstrated that the status of CXCL9:SPP1 TAM polarity was positively associated with increased tumor infiltration of immune cells (T cells, B cells, and dendritic cells), that CXCL9:SPP1hi TAM-associated pathways included IFN (α and γ) signaling in most cells, and that IFN-γ promoted CXCL9 expression in TAMs.
