After adjusting for age, sex, PD duration and FPG, UPDRS III scores were found to be independently associated with IL-6 (β = −0.497, 95% CI: −0.892 to −0.102, p = 0.018) and TNF-α (β = 0.689, 95% CI: 0.532–0.846, p < 0.001), with the model explaining 52.3% of variance (adjusted R2 = 0.523).
