The association of lipid-related indices (continuous variables) with arthritis was shown in Figure 2, which adjusted for covariates (sex, age, race, education, coronary heart disease, stroke, smoke, hypertension, TC, AST, and ALT), and the results showed that TyG, TyG- WC, TyG-WHtR, TyG-BMI, and VAI were all linearly associated with arthritis risk (P for non-linear>0.05), while HOME-IR and LAP were non-linearly associated with arthritis risk (P for non-linear < 0.001).
