While studies on STAT4 and STAT6 are limited, both have been implicated in immune regulation and tumor progression, with STAT4 overexpressed in squamous cell carcinoma and cervical adenocarcinoma, especially with lymph node metastasis (Gutiérrez-Hoya and Soto-Cruz, 2020). Here, STAT4 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
