We found that compared to that in the healthy control group, the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)/solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11)/GPX4 pathway was significantly up-regulated in COPD patients, with the most notable increase observed in the COPD GC-resistant group. This evidence concerns the gene NFE2L2 and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
