While the loss of TET2 has been linked to the upregulation of the tumor necrosis factor /nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway, which confers resistance to EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitors in NSCLC [32], we observed that TET2 overexpression in NSCLC cells notably increased PRC1 expression through promoter demethylation. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
