On the other hand, the concentrations of GSH, a non-enzymatic antioxidant, and the levels of enzymatic antioxidants, including SOD, CAT, GPx, GR, and GST, showed a dramatic decrease (3.1, 5.7, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2, and 2.7-fold, respectively) in T2DM-induced group compared to control animals (p < 0.05; Fig. 7c-h).
