The development of EGFR, ERBB2 (HER2), ALK, ROS1, RET, NTRK1/2/3, and KRAS G12C inhibitors has changed the landscape of systemic NSCLC treatment, with approximately 2–3-fold improvement of life expectancy in patients with oncogenic mutations and 5–7-fold increase of overall survival in subjects with druggable kinase fusions [12]. The gene discussed is RET; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
