It was observed that lycopene treatment for 72 h repressed the proliferation, invasion, and migration of tumor cells as well as suppressing epithelial–mesenchymal transition by down‐streaming N‐cadherin, the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, p‐AKT, p‐PI3K, p‐mTOR, and bcl‐2 levels (Wang et al. 2020). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and neoplasm.
