Figure 2c shows the predicted structure of the interaction between protein 2A from Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) and human actin-histidine N-methyltransferase (SETD3). SETD3 is a host factor that is essential for enteroviral infection and has been shown to interact with protein 2A (Diep et al., 2019). The structure of 2A in complex with SET3D was recently solved (Peters et al., 2022) and was not used for AlphaFold2/3 training. The gene discussed is SETD3; the disease is enterovirus infectious disease.
