Additionally, on day 7 post-treatment, the proportions of CD8+ GZMK+ C04 T cells among total T cells were significantly different between AIS patients who eventually achieved good outcomes (mRS 0–2) and those with poor outcomes (Fig. 3K), revealing that CD8+ GZMK+ C04 T cells were associated with stroke outcome.
