Patients in the TNM stage III-IV group had significantly larger tumor size and higher serum CEA, cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-C levels than those in the TNM stage I-II group (P = 0.029, 0.040, 0.017, 0.044, 0.032, respectively), while the TNM stage III-IV group had shorter PFS than the stage I-II group (P = 0.023).
