The Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 2 (EBI2, GPR183), one of the key immune system modulators, has been implicated in several chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease and MS (Crick et al., 2017; Gatto et al., 2011; Klejbor et al., 2021; Konieczna-Wolska et al., 2024; Kutryb-Zajac et al., 2022; Pereira et al., 2009; Velasco-Estevez et al., 2021; Vigne et al., 2017; Wanke et al., 2017). Here, GPR183 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
