PRL and polycystic ovary syndrome: Following the finding of mildly elevated serum prolactin levels (609.10 uIU/mL), and in the absence of a history of medications known to elevate prolactin (such as antipsychotics or antidepressants), the patient was referred for pelvic ultrasonography to assess for possible recurrence of endometriotic lesions or features suggestive of PCOS.
