Next, we analyzed the clinical information regarding birth details, postnatal complications, and symptoms from the BPD complicated with EOS group and BPD complicated with LOS group and found significant differences in the LOS group in terms of biochemical indicators (platelet count, peak values of CRP), symptoms during infection (fever, feeding intolerance, and abdominal distension), and postnatal complications (PDA) (p < 0.05). Here, CRP is linked to Patent ductus arteriosus.
