CRP and hyperuricemia: As shown in Supplementary Table 3, compared with participants in the lowest CRP quartile, those in the third and fourth quartiles had significantly higher odds of hyperuricemia (Q3: OR=1.17, 95% CI: 1.01 to 1.34, P = 0.031; Q4: OR = 1.26, 95% CI: 1.10 to 1.45, P=0.009), indicating a positive association between systemic inflammation and uric acid levels.
