To evaluate the effect of METTL3 O-GlcNAcylation on HCC tumorigenesis in vivo, we performed xenograft experiments in nude mice, which showed that METTL3 depletion significantly hindered HCC growth, as indicated by decreased tumor volume, weight, and proliferating cell nuclear antigen IHC. Here, METTL3 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
