As shown in Figure 7, the NGF levels increased in the aqueous (2.128 ± 0.571 vs. 8.828 ± 1.138 pg/mg; AD vs. ctr; p < 0.01; Figure 7A) and significantly decreased in the VH (7.518 ± 0.729 vs. 4.967 ± 0.805 pg/mg; AD vs. ctr; p < 0.005; Figure 7B) of patients with AD-VRD with respect to controls. This evidence concerns the gene NGF and Alzheimer disease.
