Twelve mRNAs (AQP1, ELOVL7, ITPR3, KRT19, KRT23, LAMC2, MMP7, PROM1, SPINT1, STK39, TNFRSF21, and VTCN1) and fourteen lncRNAs play an important role in the occurrence and development of alcoholic hepatitis, and database validation shows that these genes are significantly upregulated in patients with alcoholic hepatitis, which provides further directions for the study of useful diagnostic markers and molecular mechanisms in alcoholic hepatitis. Here, PROM1 is linked to alcoholic hepatitis.
