From a clinical point of view, these results open the prospect of using LAG-3 and TIM-3 inhibitors as adjunctive therapies in the treatment of ovarian cancer, potentially in combination with PD-1/PD-L1 and CTLA-4 inhibitors, as well as with currently used drugs such as bevacizumab or PARP inhibitors.
