In this context, recent results from the AVATAR study [28] showed that SBRT, in a population of 32 patients with oligoprogressive lesions, is an excellent strategy for maintaining systemic therapy with CDK4/6 inhibitors in metastatic disease, achieving a median time to systemic therapy change of 10.4 months, with 46% of patients remaining on CDK4/6 inhibitors for more than 6 months. Here, CDK4 is linked to metastatic neoplasm.
